Making big moves

My boyfriend and I both have lived in small town Nebraska our entire lives. We have known each other for years and had the same friend groups despite living in different towns. So family is a huge part of our lives. Well we both just applied for new jobs in Texas and got hired. We knew we were going to be making the move, I just had no idea it would be happening so quickly. We applied on 1/12 and got told today 1/14 they needed us down there on the 27th. I have never lived away from home, so I’m excited and beyond nervous to be moving so far away from everything I’ve ever known. We also have to leave our dog behind for a month or two with my parents while we go down and get established.
