Suggestions?!

Okay folks! I’m giving up. Throwing in the towel. I can’t keep working. I need to find a different job where I can be with my LO more often. I see her two hours a day M-F. I’m devastated and starting to get depressed about it. Any recommendations for jobs?! Anyone want to hire me?!

Best job I ever had with my kids was a paraprofessional at a school. You work school hours very very seldom have to stay for a meeting, never have to worry about nights, weekends, holidays, or getting called in on your day off. I’m fortunate enough to be a sahm now , but if I decide to go back to work at some point it will definitely be at a school!

I work at a government institution, where we get to work from home twice a week and we also have the concept of place and time independent work, which means as long as your work is done you can work where you want, when you want (So sometimes I work after my LO went to bed or in the weekend when my husband takes care of him) If I didnt have this I would not be able to go to 2 physiotherapists and 2 normal therapists so often. I get a lot of vacation days and all of my colleagues work hard to keep their work and life balance. Not sure how it is in other countries, but definitely worth looking into it where you live?
