Ovulation?????

Hi!
This is my first time TTC, using OPKs and tracking my ovulation. My apps say that I will probably ovulate in two or three days, but my ovulation tests keep getting very negative. (See picture) Is that normal? I know the apps aren't precise, but I'm so worried that I won't ovulate. I started using OPKs as soon as my last period ended on CD 5.

Do you have a regular cycle? You could still just be early, the apps just guess when your fertile week is. Mine was off before I started opk’s and even now it’s still never lined up completely with when I get my positive. My cycle is 31-32 days and I get a positive opk usually cd16 or cd17. Keep testing!

Sometimes they don’t get dark until you actually ovulate.

Try not to stress yourself out too much! Your results so far are pretty normal. Using OPKs can be confusing and anxiety-inducing, but try to relax. I think most women ovulate between cd 11 and cd 18 (I think that’s what I read on a fertility website lol). It’ll happen!

I stopped the pill in August and haven’t had a positive opk ever. I got my first positive on a clear blue advanced ovulation test in December and my second positive this month. When I got those positives the opks were still negative. They never changed at all. The only way I know the clear blues are accurate is that my CM is egg white at the time and the day I get my positive my temperature drops. The day after my temperature rises. I’m hoping this means I defo ovulated and I do believe it did. If you don’t find your surge at all with the opks it could be worth a cycle with the clear blue to ensure you are ovulating and so you can check it against CM and temp. Hopefully it will help you to get to know your cycle a bit more.
