Recurrent yeast infection

Ever since i started having sex (unprotected) with my boyfriend whose uncircumcised, i’ve been getting yeast infections all the time. I don’t know what the problem is because almost everything i read tells me the problem is poor hygiene, or cleaning my vagina too much to where the pH is out of balance, or just simply having it be moist down there for prolonged amounts of time. None of these however is the cause. I feel like it might be my boyfriends penis not being thouroughly cleaned? He also doesn’t get yeast infections so he isn’t passing it to me, but could the bacteria be harmful to me? He says he cleans it daily. It’s come to the point where if we have sex i’m terrified i will get a yeast infection. What do i do?
