Hmmmm

My husbands family rarely ever contact him. He’s not very close to them and isn’t one for small talk. But they blow me up. And they expect me to answer. If I don’t, they get upset and become super dramatic. One time I missed ONE call from my MIL and she called my husband to say she thinks I’m mad at him lol, even though that’s the farthest thing. I’m literally always in the middle of our busyness when they message me.

(And the messages are usually just a random recipe link or to tell me to ask my husband for a favor from them)

Idk what to think 😭 can’t tell if I’m in the wrong and just getting annoyed by it, or if they’re testing me, or if they truly just miss me?

(MIL sent me a recipe last night while i was taking care of my husband who’s sick and she texted me today, “what the hell? No communication from you? WOW I’m upset with you.”)
