First IUI - Any stories like ours?

Hi! Hoping to get some insights/anecdotes from people who might be like us. Starting our first IUI next month (w/ letrozole + trigger shot too). I don’t ovulate every month (not PCOS or endo, though) and my husband’s sperm are a little abnormally shaped. 
Also, any tips for first IUI? Happy ending stories? 
I’m so cautious to get my hopes up but I kind of need to to hype myself up for it - ya feel me?

No PCOS or Endo for me. Short follicular phase with male factor infertility. 100mg clomid and trigger + IUI worked for us the first time. My doctor was shocked though and didn’t expect it to work at all due to my husbands count on the day of IUI.

I’ve been TTC I don’t have any fertility issues on my part but my husband has slight decrease in sperm motility and morphology and numbers. We’ve been TTC for 2 years and finally in November I reached out for help! I had my first IUI on January 10th 27 million sperm put inside lol praying that this is it but I know 1st times can be hit or miss. Good luck ♥️

No PCOS or endo. 2 healthy babies at home. unexplained secondary infertility both male and female. Hubs on clomid. This is my 3rd round of femara and we are triggering to do an IUI next week. I'll let you know how it goes. My does this month is 7.5 mg of Femara

Somewhat similar... I’m on my 3rd day of letrozole and planning trigger for my first IUI.. I have “mild” PCOS and husbands sperm are perfectly fine. 
I’m cautiously optimistic as even my nurse said it may not work the first time!
