hii, i’ve had my belly button pierced for about 5 months. it’s been ok until like a week ago. i really hope it’s not rejecting because i wanted this piercing so bad

sorry my stomachs a little hairy lmao. but when i run my finger across the middle i can clearly feel the bar.

Honestly it looks like it wasn't pierced deep/low enough. I tried piercings my own belly button and it looked like this(had to take it out after a week because it was rejecting) but when I got it repierced by a professional they said I did an okay job but it wasn't deep enough and the bottom hole wasn't low enough to have enough skin to prevent it from rejecting.

mine looked like this and ended up rejecting. as soon as it gets red and flaky in that middle part i would take it out. i have an ugly scar now :(

mine looked like this for literally months. it was red, irritated and crusty. i DID not touch it, i used strictly q tips, h2o spray and sea salt to cleanse it twice a day and made sure my jeans didn’t annoy it or wear really tight shirts. then sometime last year around the end of August it just stopped getting red and irritated 🤷🏻‍♀️i haven’t had a problem since. but if you don’t have some wiggle room, and it feels like your stretching your belly a little, immediately call your shop and ask if they can take a look before you just take it out for nothing/ and see if they can switch it out with a longer bar.
