This blister popped up yesterday on my inner thigh. It looks like it could be herpes but I’m not too sure. I’m 18 and a virgin and I do get cold sores but I just assumed it was just HSV1. Idk what to do I’m scared.

UPDATE: So I went in for a check up a week after the pain started and turns out it was shingles. ￼Relieved it’s not a STD but still surprised bc I didn’t know I had chickenpox before today but it shouldn’t be a major problem anyway

I already knew that they could be other please but I googled it for you. They can be other places. This also may not be herpes all together and it’s from chafing or boil or friction from your legs rubbing together. There’s millions of skin conditions Eczema, rosacea, psoriasis, dermatitis etc. but like I said it may just clear up with some neosporen with pain relief.  As for me myself. The only time I go to a doctor is for my asthma inhaler refills. Haven’t taken an antibiotic in 2 years etc. I’ve got the horrible virus that’s going around, I broke the fever with honey and cinnamon like I have for the last 2 years every time I try and get bronchitis. My mother went to the doctor they gave her a nasal spray inhaler that made it worse, gave her anxiety and burned like hell and gave her a headache. After that she took my advice. I don’t freak out when something happens I deal with it from experience. Since you are concerned I’m trying to be helpful. And by the way I haven’t had insurance in over 15 years, I have doctors that hook me up for 40 bucks, there’s prescription cards and codes the pharmacist uses my inhalers are 179 I get it for 27. If I need a chiropractor adjustment 40 bucks. Most places will work with you, you just gotta call around and ask. Look I hurt my back I don’t have insurance or much money what would you charge me. Most doctors supplement the difference with the insurance patients or workman’s como cases and will be willing to help you if you do need to see a doctor. You always have options. Planned parenthood or medical clinics is another option. You go to planned parenthood, tell them you are living on a friends couch and they treat you for free or low cost too because it’s state funded. Whether it’s testing an exam or meds. So take a breather,  stress aggravates flare up and brings on more just like psoriasis does. You take it one day at a time and figure it out. But for now neosporen with pain relief and keep the area clean and covered. It will probably clear up on its own. I’m sorry you are feeling this way. I hope things get better.

The first thing to do, is to calm down. The second thing to know is, that 75% of the population has some form of herpes whether it’s type one or type two. Next thing you should know is that stress triggers outbreaks. So the less stress the better. My theory is always, when in doubt, get checked out. If it’s nothing, then you’re stressing for nothing. If it￼ is, then you deal with it then and do whatever they recommend or medication or research natural remedies etc. until you know if it is or not if it’s painful neosporen with pain relief and keep it covered, better to avoid infection or spreading. If it is then they can recommend something else.
