I have very irregular periods/cycles. Even with the tracker, it is impossible to know when it is coming! My mom used to have the same issue but now that she is on birth control, it has gotten better.

I am 18 now and I want to be on birth control as well so that I can hopefully regain control over my body. I'd like to be on the same pill that my mom is on since we both have the same problem and I know she doesn't have many bad side effects. However, when I ask her what pill she's on, she changes the topic or simply doesn't answer.

What should I do?
