If you’re wanting to show it at work then yes. If you’re planning on keeping it covered at work then no.

Does your office have a code handbook? When I was hired I was given a code of conduct and had to sign it. It listed what was allowed and not allowed as far as clothing, hair color, piercings etc.

Pretty sure if you're working in an office you'll mainly be wearing shirts that would cover that area

I’m a supervisor and I don’t ask my boss if I can get a tattoo, I just make sure it’s covered when I need to.

You can easily cover that up with clothes so I would say just get it if you're ok with possibly having to cover it up. However tattoo restrictions are getting lower in most places so it probably wont be a big deal at all

If it’s something that’s going to show. It’s always good to know a companies policy on tattoos and piercings. I’ve even asked before dying my hair, because I was getting ready to step up into management, and it wasn’t anything obscene, just a few red highlights in my hair. But I wanted to make sure it was okay first, before I went out and spent the money. It also doesn’t hurt to ask.
