Iui + injectables?

I only just finished my 2nd iui today (which will hopefully end up working and I won’t need to consider another cycle) so I may be jumping the gun here.

I have unexplained infertility and our goal is to produce more than one follicle to increase the targets for the sperm... so far I have been unsuccessful. I think I’ve tried about 6 cycles of letrozole 5-7.5mg with 3 of them being monitored. Out of the 3 that were monitored 1 cycle I produced multiple follicles and the others just 1. So then we switched to 150 clomid which still only gave me one follicle plus one 3cm cyst.

At this point I’m just assuming neither the letrozole or clomid are worth it... especially since I can produce one follicle on my own without medication. Is the next logical step to inquire about injectables with iui?

Or, if you’ve done iui with injectables what was the process you took for your dr to decide that’s what should happen next?
