Question about Xanax

Has anyone taken Xanax while breastfeeding? I am having an increased amount of anxiety due to my in-laws current visit (they are extremely difficult), and I can’t seem to relax. I have tried all my usual calming practices and it’s just not happening. I’m so on edge and my heart won’t stop racing. Now I’m worried that the anxiety is impacting my milk supply, and baby is not happy when nursing. My doctor can’t get me in for another week (the nurse would not answer any medication related questions), but I have a prescription for Xanax from my doctor (pre pregnancy, but less than a year ago), to take as needed. I am thinking of taking 0.25mg just to help alleviate some of this anxiety, but now I’m even more concerned it’s going to pass to my 1 month old.
