IUD question

I had my IUD placed about 9 months ago. After intercourse I cramp so bad and it can last for awhile after. My lower abdomen feels full, if that makes sense?, I feel so bloated and I get sharp, shooting pains frequently. I have had the placement checked multiple times for many of the reasons listed above and it’s fine. Is this normal? Or is my body just not reacting well? I have been thinking about getting it taken out.
