What are y’all doing with your babies during awake time?

I feel like I’m not doing enough during awake time, but maybe it’s just because that time is so limited and they really don’t do a whole lot at this point.
I am doing:
Tummy time
Singing
Reading books
Taking walks 
Introducing new sounds (rattles, and those toys that make the crunchy noises)
Working on tracking objects with black and white photos 
Sometimes he’s interested and sometimes it just seems pointless.

You’re doing more than enough! Don’t be hard on yourself. I sing, talk, play music, read, do tummy time (although he just rolls lately so he likes staring up at the lights on his back in his Finding Nemo activity center), but we snuggle more than anything else. I’m not placing pressure on myself to be rigid about fitting tons of activities in the day. He sleeps a lot so I do what I can. He loves being in my arms so I snuggle him, rock him, dance with him, and sing to him. Also have music constantly going. So if nothing else there’s at least that. Another cool thing I’ve learned is how much they love contrast so I make sure he has super contrasted things to look at.

You know i had this exact thought. I do all the things everyone has mentioned. But you know what i noticed, that i think sometimes my boy just wants to hang out in silence & he’s cool with it. Like, i started doing the macarena with him (i move his arms to the music & sing along) and he likes it. Lol i know super old school but he likes the movement. Well today he was a lil fussy with the macarena, so i stopped moving him & singing & he got calm & was perfectly fine just chilling on me doing nothing. That made me think that sometimes i may be doing too much & being overstimulating, and that he may just want some quiet time also. I was so busy thinking silence =boredom but i was wrong. I mean i dont want someone talking my ear off all day, so i get that a baby may not want it either. 
So im working on trying to be more in tune with what he wants (or not want) to do when he’s awake and have more of a balance between activities and just quiet mommy/baby time.

Tummy time or an activity mat to wonder at. Or just being carried around the house by mom while I take care of her older brother and sis. They’re enough stimulation for the both of us! 😂

I’ve been wondering the same thing!  We’re talking to him, singing songs, telling nonsensical stories (I doubt he cares about the content right now 😂), dancing, going for walks (though this usually puts him to sleep), tummy time, and placing him under this light-up activity gym thing.  But like you said, the time is super limited and I can’t tell how much he’s actually getting out of it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I feel the same but maybe its normal to feel like that because I'm usually engaging her 95% of the time and the other 5% feeling like I'm not doing enough.
