Would u have an epidural ?

Hey girls just wondering what your views , thoughts and experiences with the epidural is as I’m considering it for labour ? 
I don’t like pain relief that makes you out of it so epidural is kind of my only option

I didn’t get one because I wanted the freedom to move around. I’m not good at sitting still 🤣

Had one and it was a life saver. Some say they couldn’t move for hours after it but I had epidural for about 20 mins before I pushed, when I was pushing they disconnected the epidural and I was able to get up and use the restroom half an hour after my daughter was born. It only took 3 pushes lol

I wanted to go natural with my first and made it 24 hours without and then got one and was in labor for 10 more hours... this baby I will be getting one as soon as I can!

Id fully have one if it wasnt a needle in your spine. Like if it was IV but i wont allow anyone poking in my spine lol just my opinion

I had 1. You can get your teeth pulled without pain meds doesn’t mean you have to do without it. No shame, give me the drugs 😂🤷🏼‍♀️

I had one and it was amazing. I wouldn't have had the energy to push if I didn't get the epidural and take a nap before go time.

You definitely need to look into the pros and cons - having an epidural does increase your risk of intervention hugely. 
I've had three natural labours and would never have one - I wanted to be upright and moving and help my baby get I to the best position for a quicker birth. 
Once you're on your back and numb, you are more likely to create a space for baby that puts them in a position that can make birth longer and more difficult.

I don’t like the feeling of being high either lol so I skipped the IV mess and gas mask and went straight to the epidural. I said I would rather have my head in it and not feel my lower half.
