Read description. 1 yr old won’t eat and dr told us to get this. Do I only give him this and cut out formula completely ?

My son who is 1 won’t eat any solids yet and the doctor prescribed that we get pediasure grow and gain (pictured below) my question is, do I only give him this? Or do I give him this and formula?

Like other comment says call doctor back to get correct instructions, 
In regards to the not eating solids, how are you feeding him? Are you trying by spoon or also doing baby led weaning? I found that my little girl prefers to feed herself so she gets alot of food on her tray and she sits for ages and eats, 
Offering them food to pick up and eat theirs selves is great fun because to start they will play with it but hand will go to mouth eventually and you'll find they are eating it

I would call your doctor back and ask. But a note about pediasure.. it has a ton of sugar and it's really bad for their teeth. Make sure to brush his teeth 30 minutes or so after each serving of pediasure so that sugar doesn't sit too long on his teeth, if he has any.
