Tipping 20% at a restaurant?

j🫶🏼

I wanted to know people’s thoughts on tipping your servers/waiters and waitresses

I also know there is a lot of controversy around “If you can’t afford to tip, don’t eat out” and I wanted to know your thoughts.

Also was curious if most people think it’s right to “pre-buss” your table, or if you just leave it?

Do you always tip 20% or higher,

Depends on service and how accommodating the server was, or do you never tip atleast 20%?

Personally, when I go out, I always tip at least 20% because being a waitress myself, I know that servers only make 2.33 an hour(where I live) and so they live off tips.

Just curious and wanted to see what you guys would say!
