Negative partner

Last night I suggested stockpiling pampers and wipes after I was watching some videos on YouTube. Initially my S.O responded by saying he wasn't sure and then this morning said to me( to my face) that he wants to hear the baby cry before he gets anything/spends any money. I'm currently 16w 3d and scheduled to have my anatomy scan done the first week in February. Initially I had some bleeding and was placed on pelvic rest weeks 7-10. What he said has really put me on edge,I'm so angry I just might not speak to him for a long time.
