Severe Braxton Hicks or labor?

Jazzi👩🏾‍🦱👶🏽👱🏻‍♂️👼🏽👼🏽👼🏽

Ok ladies I'm 34 weeks exactly, yesterday afternoon I've had extreme pain in my left side that has left me breathless and barely able to stand. I managed to take a hot shower and the pain subsided a bit. Was feeling better so I took my boyfriend's grandma to her appointment and we went to a buffet and my belly started to contract again. Was thinking to myself "Oh this must be what a Braxton Hicks contraction feels like" it subsided and I went about my day. After I get home the pain is still there and it's hitting in waves so I drink I've water and just watch TV no big deal.

The waves of pain keep coming and I noticed that it was rhythmic so I timed them at 6-7 mins apart. Called my friend and we shoot out to the hospital and the nurse straps me up and checks me out. Cervix is super high and it's shut tight but the contractions are still going. Baby girl is kicking super hard and all over the place, which is normal for me. So hard in fact that the nurse had to readjust my bands because she kicked them off center.

After being there well over 3 hours they sent me home and said it was just Braxton Hicks and it should settle down but because baby girl is moving so much it's making my insides tender. I came home ate a bit and took another hot shower to calm her before bed and was able to sleep but as soon as it hit 4am I'm still in pain. I can barely roll out of bed to go to the bathroom 10 steps away and it's been over 7 hours since I've been discharged and I'm still contracting.

Can someone please help me out, I know every pregnancy is different but this is just uncomfortable. If the pain doesn't stop by daylight I'm calling my doctor and going back up there. I just need some advice if anyone has been through this, to make matters worse my fiance is out of town on work and may be snowed in so he may not make it in time if I have to be hospitalized.
