How can I teach my 16 month old where his nose, mouth, head, eyes, etc. Are?

He’s 16 months and whenever I ask him where they are he just doesn’t pay attention at all. He’s all over the place. He knows to wave hi and bye though...
Any ideas how I can teach him?

The song.  It how we showed our son. That and there a book he got that is like the song.

Sing that hard, shoulders, knees and toes song. I also always used to play with my kids by saying "I'm gonna get your (knees, ears, nose, chin). They learn super quick through play.

There’s a song on cocomelon on YouTube about taking a bath and it’s like baby shark. It says “wash my nose do do dodo dodo” etc. We used to sing that all time in the bath with all the body parts. She loved it and joined in.

Books, point them out to on their own face, your face, your pet if you have one, etc. We’ve done this for ages and my son knew all the parts of his face around 14 months. Just keep at it!

Mine  (now 17ms) didn’t get it at all a month ago now he can point to about half the body parts. Just try working on it each day. They retain more then you think they are

Body books are good too in addition to music! I just started reading the body book to my 3 month old plus singing the song since early on.
