When can people start using the term “step parent”
(Stolen from a dr Phil debate)
Dr. Phil basically told this mans gf that she has no place stepping to this mans ex wife about their kids because she is not their step mother and not married to their father. She calls her self their step mother and that raised a huge debate in the comments as to whether or not someone should be calling themselves a step parent if they aren’t married to the kids bio parent. Thoughts?
