How to cope with anxiety and stress?

I’ve done a mock cycle this month and got a green light to order my meds. I should get my AF in about 2 weeks maybe less. I should give my pharmacy a call and buy meds but my anxiety is stopping me. I’m worrying about IVF not working. I have cervical stenosis and my DH has low motility (we’ll be doing ICSI). What helps you with anxiety and stress when doing IVF?

Just relax and leave it to God and the doctors . . At this point there is nothing you can do on your end except taking injections on time and just sleep rest and pamper yourself by going out .. watching comedy movies and show to take your mind off the stress and anxiety. And also br hopeful there is 40 to 50 chance that ivf works. And a lot of women shared their successful stories from first time ivf . I believe that  eventually we (the women going through this) will have a baby in our  arms

I have OCD and anxiety so I was worried that the stress of the whole IVF process who make me crazy!  I found that coloring and chrocheting really helped me!  So my advice is to find a small hobby like that to keep your mind busy. I also see a therapist who has done IVF herself which has been beyond helpful!  Good luck!

I'm starting my 2nd ivf cycle right now after a failed one. Talk about anxiety and stress! I keep comparing everything to the last cycle. This round I'm doing meditations at night before bed. I'm also trying to walk or do yoga each day. I can tell you the cycle goes by quick. Just focus on what meds you need to do that day and try not to let your mind jump ahead. Before you know itz the retrieval will be here and the hard part is over. I found Jackie Browne fertility meditations on spotify. There are alot on YouTube also. Good luck to you!
