Should my bf sleep in a different room?

Question

My bf is a very loud sleeper and snorer. Baby is going to be here this weekend. The crib will be in our room for the first couple months at least. Should my bf sleep in a separate room as to not keep the baby awake or should the baby get used to it? Whats your experience?

Newborns dont give a shit how loud or quiet it is they will sleep when tired lol I was so worried about that at first too and she did fine. And if she grows with his noises there she went even be bothered by them later. Unless it's just a super loud unnecessary noise lol

My husband snores so fucking loud, my baby has never been bothered. He sleeps through it lol.

Thanks guys! I keep a box fan on all night in our room already so maybe I will continue to use that (pointed at the wall) for white noise 😊 I need it for white noise regardless lol I’ll only send the bf to the other room if he’s keeping me up with his sleeping antics 😂

I think it’s whatever you’re comfortable with. I was more worried about my husbands alarm going off when he has to go to work. My daughter got used to it.  He also snores sometimes and we’re used to it. I would never ask him to sleep anywhere else but next to me otherwise I can’t sleep lol our second baby is coming and now both kids will be in the room with us so I have another problem 🤦🏽‍♀️

Let baby sleep through it- he like will. I had about 10+ people at our small apt when baby was 2 weeks. He never slept in his crib that day. he got passed around from person to person all day long, people were loud, cracking jokes, etc, he woke uo to feed & maybe opened his eyes for a few but he was never disturbed out if his sleep by any of oud loud mouths lol

train your kids to fall asleep when it’s noisy because i didn’t with my first and i regret it. it has to be quiet and pitch black for her to sleep. my friends kid can sleep anywhere. so jealous.

Our newborn could sleep with a train going though the room. It wasn’t until she was about 3 months that she started needed quiet and dark room to nap/sleep, and that’s about when we moved her to her own room. I wouldn’t worry about your bf.... Now if his snoring keeps YOU up that’s another story :) My hubby gets kicked to the couch about 3x a week because of it lol

A baby doesn't need to be in quiet. It even might help him sleep better. Anyway, at first a baby doesn't care, and later baby gets used to it. So no, don't send a man to another room.

I think you should try it out and see. Babies can sleep through white noise so it might be ok. My husband snores occasionally and it’s been ok.
