5month sleep advice
Long post: for the past month my 5 month old has been sleeping 7:30pm-6:30/7am. She takes four, 30 minutes naps, two hours apart everyday. The past week she’s been going to sleep around 6:45-7pm but now waking up at 5am. I tried to decrease her naps to three times a day but she gets super cranky if I extend her naps past the two hour mark. She wakes up from her last nap no later than 4:30pm. We started supplementing with formula due to her not gaining enough weight nursing. Any advice what to do to help her sleep longer in the mornings?
If I go back to work in 2 weeks she’s going to have to wake up at 6am so do I even try to have her sleep later? She’s good at just hanging in her crib until I go get her but since shes starting to roll back to belly, she does that while waiting for me but doesn’t know how to roll back and starts crying after a minute.
She’s been sooo good with sleeping since one month old so I’m very fortunate and thankful it’s been pretty easy. Maybe it’s just a phase and will change soon 🤷🏼♀️ Sorry for the long post!! TIA for your help!
