5day old in hospital. Traumatized. He won’t latch

Omg! My 5 day old was in the hospital. I am so traumatized. As a first time mom, omg i didn’t realize i would love him so muchhhh i wanted to run out of the hospital. After 1.5 days at the hospital i was sent home. On the the 3rd day i noticed my son was getting yellowish in the skin, ppl told me i was being paranoid. (The thing about being a new mom everyone has an effing opinion) and the 4th his the white of his eye looked yellow. We went to the ER.

Omg they assumed i wasn’t feeding him enough, so they INSISTED on putting an IV in. The effing nurses just stuck and pricked my new born 7 times until they gave up. 😭😭😭😭

We went up to the NICU only for them to tell me that an IV wasn’t “that necessary, jaundice baby’s don’t need it usually” anyway, they maybe me pump for 1.5 days. While i had already been breastfeeding for 3 days straight. Since he was in the phototherapy. And they wanted to make sure i was feeding him enough.

Now we are back home and he won’t latch on, 😢😢😢.

If i have to pump. How often should i pump?!!!!
