Flu Running it’s Course

deep sigh... my sister in law had the flu, and waited four days to go to the hospital. during that time, she came to our home. now, my hubby has it, and i’m irritated. i told her it was the flu, and she claimed that it was just food poisoning... lo and behold, i was right. i’m here, almost 16 weeks pregnant, and taking care of a very sick, upset, and frustrated guy. we’re both in school on top of everything, and it’s our first week back. college + pregnancy + sick significant other... i wish i was on a white sand beach somewhere. i have my flu shot, but i also have a notoriously weak immune system. any tips on how to hopefully keep myself from getting sick?!

UPDATE: called sister-in-law because i needed some help w hubby... he was upset and asking for his sister, so i obliged... she came over and watched movies with his grandmother who lives with us. she drove me to target and tried to undermine everything i bought, despite the fact that i was raised by my mother who was a nurse for twenty years, and then ran a hospital for almost 15... sick people is one thing i’m good at lol. i’m in the middle washing & disinfecting everything, and sister in law decides to do HER laundry. at OUR HOUSE. while i’m CLEANING. it’s one in the fucking morning and she’s here doing laundry that she brought over without asking... she just came in and decided that she’s sleeping over. i regret asking her over. please help!
