Help!! Needing reassurance!!

My husband and I found out we’re expecting on 1/1.

I am 8 weeks on 1/30 and am getting my first confirmation of pregnancy on 2/3.

We are planning to tell our families on 1/31 and 2/1 (prior to the doctors appointment).

Would you ladies/Have you ladies told family prior to getting confirmation from doctor?

We are really excited to tell them and they live far away so it would be a while until we would have another chance to see/tell me!!

I know I just have to have faith and trust all is good with baby, just feeling nervous!!
