Breastfeeding Issues-Thrush

Has anyone had thrush? They’re treating us both for thrush but I don’t think it’s actually thrush. I have horrible pain in my left boob everytime I nurse her. I pumped straight blood Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (absolutely horrifying and disgusting) and we’ve both been on meds since Monday and I just don’t feel better. They never saw any signs of thrush in her, but went ahead treating her as well because of I did have it, she would get it too.

Has anyone else experienced this? Severe stabbing pain when baby latches, pumping blood etc. i don’t have a fever, and don’t feel bad enough for mastitis. But what the heck? It’s only the left side 🤔🤷🏼‍♀️

I’m going to call both my OB and the ped back, but I just wanted to see if anyone else had experienced this. Should I also call lactation consultant? You’d think after 7-1/2 months we know what we are doing but maybe she’s latching differently I don’t know. Ahhhh
