Embryo Grading Question!
Morning ladies!
Every clinic seems a little different but do any of you know much about day 3 embryo grading? Is it more of a snapshot in time aka this is how things look at the moment or does it give insight in to how the embryos may or may not progress?
I guess I’m just interested to learn more about the differences in grading and if they mean something. For example, my clinic uses grades 1, 2, and 3.
1 = no fragmentation
2 = minimal fragmentation
3 = moderate to heavy fragmentation
And then assigns the number of cells present. How would they even begin to go about deciphering the difference between a 7 or 8 cell grade 1 and a 10 cell grade 2?!
