HCG level w Twins ?

My last period was December 9th confirmed pregnancy on January 6th. I went in for blood work on January 15th and FINALLY 🙄 got my results back on January 21st. When I got the blood work done I should have been no more than 5 + 2 based off my last period. They nurse told me over the phone that based on my HCG level (6700) I should be about 9 weeks !! That’s insane. I KNOW I am not 9 weeks along so my questions is, anyone that found out they were pregnant with twins early and know what their HCG level was ? I don’t have my first real appointment until January 28th and I’m not even sure if they will give me a ultrasound.
