Short surge

I posted this before and got no responses. I’m wondering I got a positive and negative within the same day I bded the night before my positive ovulation test and also the day of my positive. I’m pretty sure I got my peak that morning as well so it peaked overnight. Then I tested that afternoon still positive then that night it was a definite negative. I also got cm about 2 days before this and had some cramps as well. My main questions are did I miss my ovulation did I get my positive after I ovulated is that why it was so short. Or did I just ovulate right away.I’m just tying to get a better understanding last cycle it was positive for about 1 1/2 days. Are my chances just as high even with the short surge and do you think I bded enough?
