Understanding of hcg after miscarriage

Hi ladies. I have unfortunately had a d and c a week ago 💔 I read somewhere that when I could take a pregnancy that was negative again then my Hcg would have gone down to normal and I could consider my cycle to have restarted. So essentially as day 1. Do any of you know something about this ?

This picture is from today. Still a faint positive. Does that mean my Hcg is almost back to normal ?
