L&D scare
So the past month I’ve been to labor and delivery 3 times. 🙄 the first time my doctor sent me because they thought I might of had kidney stones and needed to be checked out. The second time I slipped on ice and this past time was yesterday. I was at work and got super sick. Light headed, dizzy, nauseated, dripping sweat. It was awful. Well I had a drastic drop in blood sugar. My blood sugar was lower then someone who had been fasting for 8 hours even though I had eaten about an hour before this happened. My blood pressure was high for my body but still with in a normal range. So they basically told me I carb loaded at dinner and because of that I didn’t have enough protein in my system to maintain myself once my body burned through the carbs so I just crashed. They told me I need more protein and honestly I’m struggling with ideas that can help me maintain myself through out the day. Does anyone have any suggestions? Breakfast seems to be my hardest. I’m not a huge breakfast person and everything I like to eat for breakfast is carbs. So hash browns, cereal, bagels, toast. Etc.
