Terrible ER visit
My baby started with a pretty bad cold Wednesday and Thursday his longest stretch of sleep was 5 mins because of his congestion and cough. We decided to take him to Riley Children's hospital here in Indianapolis and OMG!!! We sat in the waiting room for 1 hour and our triage room for 4 hours. When we got moved to our room the nurse suctioned his nose and it made him bleed a lot and he continued to bleed on and off until Friday morning. After all those hours of sitting there without medication, advice ANYTHING, we asked for discharge papers because it was already 2:30am without anyone carrying. The doctor came in an hour later and she asked me questions while the nurse gave LO tylenol. My baby is not one to move away from meds and the nurse put all 3.75ml on half of his hair, all over his neck, my husband's coat and NONE in his mouth. Also the "doctor" didn't test him for anything and kept twisting my words around about his symptoms. Ended up leaving and taking him to his pediatrician Friday. Thank God he's okay but he is absolutely traumatized by the ER experience that he wont let anyone touch his face now.
