Catnapping
Ok, catnapping...
My 10-week-old (tomorrow) has been only taking 30 minute naps for the last week or more. Then she is cranky. Night sleep isn’t awful. I know that this can be normal for her age and she always has been a tough napper, but she would at least do a 1 or 2 hour stretch every so often.
I swaddle with arms up, gone without a swaddle or one arm out, I have the wonder weeks app (nothing right now), I have it dark with white noise, gas drops, I follow wake windows, I make sure she is full and clean diaper, I’ve done it all.
She always fights going to sleep initially but will calm eventually with a pacifier, gentle rocking, and a little hum.
She never gets the recommended amount of sleep. I can literally set a 30 minute timer at this point. She starts flinging her legs in the swaddle and then wakes herself up.
I’ve put her in the crib and the bassinet.
I have noticed a bit more reflux than before, but it doesn’t wake her at night...
Help! Is this just a phase?
