Never expected such a bond from breastfeeding

I didn't really have a preference one way or another for formula or breastfeeding while I was pregnant. I was pretty neutral and just thought "well if I can breastfeed, great. If not, fine." I did hope I'd be able to for a short period at least to help give my baby some of the benefits of it (which were greatly needed after the complicated pregnancy and her coming prematurely). Since she's been here though and everything has gone so well, I can really see myself continuing a while, and I've made a real effort to do everything do everything I can to keep her off breastmilk (she just does so much better on that than on formula (we had to supplement in the hospital for a 2 days)). The one thing I never realized though is how close and connected breastfeeding her would make me feel! I love watching her eat, and I fall in love with her again and deeper everytime.
