Unsure

So my cycle is averaging at 35 days but has gone as long as 42. Today is day like 38 or so. No af yet. Long story short - been off BC for about 3 years and had no luck on our own. Was on clomid and got bfp at the end of last july. Miscarried in september. Tried clomid again and went onto femara. Have been unhappy with Dr as I feel there should be more that we are doing and she hasn't suggested anything. According to progesterone level tests I haven't ovulated. However I did get a positive ovulation test at home. Unsure how valid it was though because it's the kind that uses the same reader throughout the month. Not sure if I started it on the correct day. Am going to RE on November 2nd. Anyone have thoughts?? I took a pregnancy test a few days ago and it was a bfn. Trying to be patient...but is difficult for sure.
