When does this sleep regression end😭😭

First, can I just say fuck this sleep regression. 
Anyway, how long does this last because I’m going to die. 
My son since birth has had his days and nights mixed up. He went to bed at about 3am and would sleep until 12. 
It seems like every few days it goes back a few hours. Last night he stayed up until 8am then slept until 4 pm 😭😭😭

Whoooooooo mama, the 4mo sleep regression is a total beast!
It can last 2-8 weeks and resolves on it's own! My first child is was 6w, and this babe 3 weeks.
This regression is due to a huge neurological leap and as you come to the end of the leap, you'll notice baby focusing on toys differently, grabbing them and examining them, that's how you know it's almost over. 
If you don't already own it, get the Wonder Weeks book, it tells you when leaps happen, why, and ways to help baby make the most of it (and how mama should survive it lol).
