How do you bond?

How do you bond with your baby during pregnancy? I’m just curious what everyone is doing/hoping to get some ideas!

I bought a book meant to be read while they are in utero. It’s a little dr Seuss book. I read it starting a 8 weeks with my first and continued reading her books as part of our bedtime routine- then when I was pregnant with my 2nd he was getting read to while reading to my first 🥰 when I started feeling kicks I’d talk and say I feel you baby and rub my belly/ poke back :)

Put lotion on my belly, sing her a song, read her a book. Or just tell her how my day went :)

Every night I rub lavender oil on my belly to relax and also think of it as a bonding experience as well.

With my first I played my guitar and sang to her.

Music, they both like acoustic guitar. I talk to them, rub my belly when they move. Sing in the shower so they can hear my voice. I noticed they kick a lot when I take a shower, I’m not sure if the sound of the shower is annoying for them or they’re scared of the shower.. soo I sing, to comfort them.

I play music to my bump and tell her what the songs mean to me. Like the songs that were played at my wedding. When I’m driving if it’s not too out of my way I’ll drive by places that mean something to me and talk to my bump about how them. Like my old apartment or the place where my husband and I met. It’s special cause ones she’s older I can tell her about how I took her to these places when she was in my belly. Every night I also rub coco butter or bio oil on my belly and i just spend like 15-20 minutes just massaging and rubbing my stomach.
