No more periods

I've been on the pill for almost 4 years now. A couple of years ago I started noticing that I was having very light, almost nonexistent periods. Now I am at the point where I literally never have a period except for MAYBE 2-3 times a year. And even then they are still pretty light and only last for a couple of days. The last time I saw my GYN she said this was normal. Has anyone else experienced this?
