We’re getting a pre-nup ! Advice???!!

My fiancé and I are getting married in June. I’m super excited!! He’s been married before so a pre nup is important. Nothing crazy just what we had before the marriage we keep and split the rest, but obviously we hope we never have to use it. Has anyone else gotten one? Was it difficult? How was the process do you need a lawyer can you have a notary? We want it to be binding but simple as can be

My husband and I got one. We just went to a local law office. We each got our own lawyer from the same practice, it took about an hour nd cost less than $500. It was more of a formality for his parents then anything.

Hire a lawyer. Many offer flat fees to do a prenup. Do not do it yourself if it's really what you want, or else in case of a divorce it can be thrown out by a judge and be considered invalid. Because frankly you need to make it legally correct for it to hold up, a notary cant figure that out for you. 
My area you can find a lawyer to do it for a flat fee of ~$1300. If you cannot throw that kind of money on a prenup then you probably dont have enough money for it to matter, so I wouldn't worry about it at that point. 
Also if it's your fiance to wants it, tell him to find a lawyer and pay for the lawyer if he wants it to legally hold up. Unless you are extra interested in getting it done too
