Stretch marks? When and where

I’ll be 29 weeks in 3 days and I’m just curious when everyone got stretch marks I honestly haven’t been that great about applying lotions or anything 😳🤦🏼‍♀️ it’s kinda just random when I remember or care I feel like I’m not huge yet so my stomach still has room to stretch and get stretch marks but I was wondering if people usually get them late in the third trimester? 
If I don’t get them I won’t be upset but I have some on my boobs butt and inner thighs from like puberty so I would be surprised if I didn’t get them

I got a few really late in pregnancy, maybe a month before giving birth. Majority of them I got after giving birth though.

Lots of people dont get them until after
 They're genetic so the best way to tell when you'll get them is to ask your mom about hers

I didnt get any with my son and I was so thankful. My mom had 5 children and has NONE. well I went from 140lbs to 238lbs within 10 years. Finally decided to lose some weight and got down to 170lbs. BUT then I noticed I was covered in stretch Marks. So it wasn't my pregnancy that caused it but me gaining so much weight. I was diagnosed with a pituitary tumor and once I started treatment lost a BUNCH of weight with my diet. They think I had it for years and just didnt know. Now I'm 33+3 and I can definitely see them coming back. 🤷‍♀️ I've heard even lotion cant stop them. You either get them or you dont. I'm not ashamed of mine. Reminds me how far I've come❤

I noticed some just below my belly button last week. I’m 23 weeks now. I knew I’d get them since I have a ton from puberty

I’ve just started to get loads and I’m only 22 weeks, my bump is still quite small but it was non-existent a few days ago so I’m guessing it’s because I grew super fast like basically over night. Stretch marks are genetic so it just depends on your body how many you will get, lotions and oils can’t prevent them but if you do get them it’s debated/believed with little evidence that they help them to fade.
