Weird smell's

So at the end of March my nexplanon is due out. I had some spotting, tender breast, moody, nauseous constly all this month. So I took 3 pregnancy test and all negative Finley I did start my period. Today should be the last day of it. But what's weird is I lived in our house for 2 going on 3 years now and I know there is an ok amount of iron in our water. When I got in the shower I could smell the iron in it!! And I never could before. Has any ones smell got stronger with the nexplanon ?
