Postpartum poop!?

Hello ladies ! I just had my baby girl yesterday morning 💜 I got some stitches put in and now I'm scared to poop !! What did you ladies do in this situation? I'm a FTM and would love some advise . 😉 thank you !

You have to relax and not push. It also helped me to just sit on one leg and liked of lean. Lol sounds weird but worked for me!

Take a stool softener everyday!! It helps ALOT!!!! and drink lots of water.. Also her some witch hazel pads and use those afterwards there awesome

Stool softener!!!!!!!!!! Works miracles. I tore and had an episiotomy and it didn't hurt to poop, it just slid right out! LOL 🙈

DO NOT underestimate the stool softeners and drinking lots of water! I had my son on Friday and also had to get stitches. I slacked off of the stool softeners after I left the hospital. I managed my first poop yesterday and let me tell you I was greatly humbled. I will be taking stool softeners religiously as well as drinking my same pregnancy water regimen of 2 liters/day! Follow these ladies' advice....your bum will thank you! Lol

The best advice I was given about this was to put a pad or diaper in the freezer and when you need to go, hold that against your stitches so it kind of counters the pressure. I went and did this and it really didn't hurt at all. I was terrified too so I know how you feel and just wanna give you hope that it's not going to be as bad as you think!

Lots of wate, high fiber foods and stool softener. And try to relax. The first few weeks after my baby was born, having a bowel movement was the most uncomfortable thing I did.

I had stitches too and didn't use any stool softner I just simply did it and it didn't hurt a bit!! When you feel the urge to do it you won't wait 😁

Lol same here! It took about 3 days but it was actually fine, I made sure I drank heaps of water
