Because your uterus is growing :) as long as there isn't any blood and it's not to painfull, cramping is normal in early pregnancy. Congrats!

I had really bad cramps at the very beginning of my pregnancy with my daughter. I thought it was my period coming, but it wasn't.

I was 3 days late when I finally tested. I wanted to be pregnant, so I just felt like I wasn't, because I didn't think I would be so lucky. Lol. I was late though, so I figured it was a good idea to take a test. My periods also weren't super regular though, so I doubted that it would be positive.

I didn't mean to leave that "I" there. I do that too often on this app. Lol.

Mine was around my hips and lower back. Like the other person commented, I wouldn't worry too much unless it's severe or there's blood. I never had a big issue during my pregnancy or anything and she's a healthy 3yr old now who runs our house. You can always make an appointment with an OB to be safe. Mine wouldn't see me until I was 8 weeks along. I remember it felt like a long wait. Lol. Also this is off subject, but I bought one of those fetal heart rate monitors for at home and I loved using it and listening to my daughters heart beat. I loved seeing and hearing her little fast heartbeat. I
