Thoughts on the period delay pill?

I’m getting married in a month and my period is supposed to start on my wedding day! 😭 I’ve heard there is a pill I can get from doctor that delays period and was thinking of trying that. Has anyone else tried? If so did it work and what were the side effects if any?

Why not just get on some bc temporarily so u can skip your period that month? And it you like it, you can stay on that form of bc or just quit.

It’s called norethisterone and can delay your period up to two weeks. Ask your gyno to prescribe this to you and tell them why.

It’s highly unlikely you’ll get a prescription for that 
I don’t think doctors prescribe it easily 
I’ve tried to get it before and they flat out said no because I didn’t need it for any medical reason lol
