Can you make decent money when going into a trade?

My so is thinking about going into a trade. He has always loved to work hard and with his hands. He doesn’t know which trade yet or anything..... We are just wondering thanks

I make more money in my trade than my husband does in his "white collar" career.  I've hit my wage ceiling though and he will likely surpass me someday but trades are very in demand because the younger generations are too lazy to do them.

Yes. My husband is in construction. Heavy equipment to be exact. You don’t even need a HS diploma... with the end of the year bonus he makes about $200k a year. I’m a stay at home wife. We buy things cash like my car (43k) we paid off his truck right before (46k) and he bought my engagement ring cash as well (16k). We take vacations all the time. So yes you can and it’s worth it!

Trades are where it’s at. Welding, plumbing, HVAC, electrician, carpentry, auto/diesel mechanics, home construction....all great choices.

Yup. My boyfriend is certified in his trade (as well as one other) and he makes enough to have bought a house at 20 and support all three of us without me having to work.
