Bleeding on and off?

I gave birth on 1/18 making me 17 days pp. after day 9/10 I stopped bleeding heavily and some days it stops all together but then I’ll randomly bleed for a few hours. Is this normal? I don’t want to bug my OB quite yet because I’m not in pain and I feel like I’ve healed nicely otherwise.

It's completely normal. Totally Annoying🤣 I'm 6 months pp and I remember this happening very clearly!

I'm the same way. I gave birth on the 25th and my bleeding is very sporadic. Sometimes I don't bleed at all, and sometimes I get a small gush of blood, seemingly randomly. Overall my bleeding is very light but the start/stop definitely throws me off.

Think of the place in your uterus where the placenta was attached like a wound with a new scab. When you do too much movement it opens a bit and you bleed until it scabs up again. You just need to let it heal and when you bleed slow down for a bit. It's totally normal.
