Son's 2nd birthday ideas without a party
So, my husband and I want to avoid the family drama for our son's birthday which is New Year's eve.
Our sides of the family are in disagreement with each other about some things right now and we will already have enough with the holidays lol so getting everyone in our home is just asking for an awkward/possibly bad time.
We were going to go to the Aquarium since it will be so cold (we live in Maryland). And we will do a cake with each side of the family separately the following weekend.
Does anyone have any ideas for us? I know he's young but these are our memories too (:
My family keeps asking what we plan to do so I want to decide early and avoid any backlash for not having a party. Ugh haha.
