Baby poop problem?! TMI

Question

My little guy is 12 weeks, and for the past 24 hours he has had about 7 poopy diapers which have progressed from mustard looking to showing some mucus and a greenish tinge. He is mainly breastfed with maybe 2 bottles of formula in a 24 hour period. Lately he has also been biting on the nipple of his bottle and not fully finishing a bottle in one sitting. I also notice he’s been sucking 
his hands a lot. Could this just be from teething? He isn’t showing any signs of illness.

My baby’s diapers have pretty much always looked just like that since she was 3 weeks old (she’s 10 weeks now), ranging from yellow to green, and she has always pooped about 7 times a day. Pediatrician says it’s perfectly normal and she seems fine! Hand sucking is also normal at this age for self soothing, not necessarily teething. Might not be anything to worry about.

This sometimes happen when they are getting sick. Started happening with my breastfed LO at the beginning of the week. And bam he ended up with a little cold. Nothing major and he’s fine now.

Looks like your baby has cows milk allergy. My son had similar issues. His Dr asked me to stop eating dairy. Talk to his pediatrician. Good luck.

Bless him. He could have picked up a mild tummy bug- he could be teething. My first had nasty nappies, drool and eating hands and crying a lot before I noticed a tooth in her mouth.
